May 18 Recent Season FinalesI have recently watched a lot of season finales. Most have me wondering if they are coming back. Those that have me wondering are Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Close to Home, and Numbers. Those that I know are coming back this fall are Friday Night Lights, Heroes, and Smallville. There are a few May sweep shows starting up starting tomorrow and in the next week to the end of the month. Some shows that have caught my interest by their previews are National Bingo Night, Pirate Masters, and Traveler. NBC has already posted what they plan on premiering this fall the one show that has really caught my attention is Bionic Woman. That's a classic remade for all of you Lindsey Wagner fans. Maybe she will make a cameo appearance in one of the episodes like Smallville has done many times for those with any affiliation with the Superman mythos. I'll post back here with any more television information I have. May 09 UpdateHey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted here. So long that since the time I've last posted, the O.C. has had it series finale, I've stopped watching the Unit, I've seen the show Drive go through only 4 televised episodes, and Heroes has been added to my list of shows to watch. I've been steadily watching still Bones, Criminal Minds, Smallville, Grey's Anatomy, Close to Home, Numb3rs, and Ghost Whisperer (I may have forgotten to list some shows... I watch at so many). As I am writing this, I'm watching a recorded episode of Criminal Minds. This particular episode deals with serial killers that use hunting as a sport and method of their killing. With every episode they start with a quote from someone. I have always like this. This episodes quote is One man's wilderness is another man's theme park. -Unknown The methodology that these serial killers are using is quite grotesque. They capture their victims, take them to the woods, release them, and then hunt them. I still have yet to understand why they are killing or how they are choosing their victims. I find it quite interesting that a song played while the killers where transporting one of their victims to the forest was a song entitled More Than A Feeling by Boston. Hunters have to use every instinct they have developed to hunt their prey. After a while we find that the killers are nephews. We find out that these nephews have been doing this for a while. Trophies are drivers' licenses of their victims. We find that the tradition started back with their uncle whom was delusional. I liked the question that was asked at the end of the episode. How do the killers do what they do? The answer was given as that they don't think like we [FBI] do. More in depth answer was that the FBI agents do think like they do because it's their job. The new question that remains is how do the killers and the FBI differ? I hope to do more of these more often now that I am not in classes. It is difficult keeping up with multiple blogs though. I look forward to the possibility that MSN Live Spaces will allow for group blogging. If/When that happens, those of you whom would like to contribute to this you can. September 20 Week of PremieresThis week is a week of premieres for new series and returning series. The Unit - premiered 9/19/06 (CBS 9/8c) (still need to watch) Smith - premiered 9/19/06 (CBS 10/9c) (still need to watch) Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - premiered 9/18/06 (NBC 10/9c) (still need to watch) Premiering Wednesday 9/20/06 Criminal Minds (CBS 9/8c) Kidnapped (NBC 10/9c) Premiering Friday 9/22/06 Ghost Whisperer (CBS 8/7c) Numb3rs (CBS 10/9c) An update to my previous listing of shows.... Friday Night Lights will premiere on Oct. 3, 2006 on NBC at 8/7c. I've been off to a slow start on my television due to class and constantly playing Final Fantasy XI. Been playing my game so long, I almost forgot that TV existed. I'll be playing catch up on my shows. What shows I can't record or keep up with, I'll be dropping from my list of shows to follow. In the past I was keeping up with Grey's Anatomy, I would have been still watching it if it wasn't for the fact that I filled my DVR and recorded part of an episode and then fell way behind. The only way for me to even fathom getting back on track is to go out and get the DVD series. I'll try to post next weeks premieres that I'll be watching come Friday. Wish me luck on this.... September 08 Bones - 202 - Mother and Child in the BayI'm going to do this differently than what I did on episode one.
Episode one, I wrote my own recap. This time, I'm going to c/p what
FOX has placed on their web site and then I'm going to discuss my
feelings on the episode. TEASER: Booth enters Brennan's office to inform her that police think theyâve discovered the body of Carlie Richardson in the Delaware Bay. She was a pregnant woman who went missing a year prior. Although the case got a lot of press Brennan still has no idea who she is, which spurs an argument between her and Booth about how she needs to get out more. Booth moves on to explain that the story of Richardson. She was a newly wed with a husband that was cheating on her. Evidence on her case says that they had a fight the day she went missing, the husband had scratch marks, and a witness says that they saw him down by the marina. On the way out of the lab to the bay Booth gets a call from his ex-girlfriend concerning whom their son will spend the weekend with. Booth doesn't like the idea of his ex's new boyfriend moving in on his time with his son. Brennan is losing Zack herself. It seems that Cam has stolen Zack and taken him under her wing. They both head out determined to gets their relationships back. In the car Booth and Brennan both vent about their issues, Brennan about Cam taking over the Jeffersonian and Booth about the livelihood of his son. At the scene of the crime Brennan ID's the body as a Caucasian female that has been in the bay for approximately one year. Then she uncovers the fetus, still intact with the female's body. Marks on the bone indicate that the victim was stabbed violently, multiple times. The victim is wearing the same clothes that Carlie was last seen in so Booth exits to go bring in her ex-husband for questioning. Booth kicks the door down at Kyle Richardson's house to find Karen Tyler, frightened with a bloody nose. She tells Booth that Kyle saw the news about finding Carlie's body, fought with her, hit her in the face, and then left. ACT ONE: Booth arrives back at the lab with a box of evidence from Richardson's house for the squints to examine. The box includes rope, plastic sheeting, and a knife set with one knife missing. The rope is a match. Evidence from the crime seen includes a fish that had been trapped in the plastic wrap with Carlie's body. Zack gives it to a giddy Hodgins who can't wait to examine it. Booth isn't as excited. As he stands over the tattered corpse with the fetal skeleton exposed, Brennan clearly sees that itâs affecting him. He storms out, all business, ready to crack this case. In the FBI interrogation room Booth sits with Karen Tyler who says she was there to comfort Kyle Richardson after the trial. Booth reveals some photos to show that she wasn't the only one comforting him. She already knew about the other women, but swears that he is not the type to murder. She tells Booth that he was planning on divorcing her, but he would never kill her. At the lab Brennan examines Carlie's bones as Angela stands by. Brennan talks about how she thinks marriage is a fading tradition of the past and is better left there, while Angela assures her that some day Brennan will meet someone that will make everything she just argued sound ridiculous. Zack enters with the skull in fragments and says that the debris in the water has caused a lot of damage. After Brennan asks him to reevaluate the stab markings on the ribs Zack says that Cam has him doing something else. Brennan has to remind Zack that he is studying under her and it's at this time that Cam enters to remind Brennan who's really in charge. She's also found organic tissue underneath Carlie's nails that should match Richardson and has something else to show Brennan in her office. In Cam's lab she shows Brennan a locket that has melted into the lung during putrefaction. When looked at closely they see that inside the locket an engraving reads, "I love you Kenny." This throws them of the scent because they don't know who Kenny is. Booth sits at the bar of the diner talking to his son on the phone as Brennan enters to join him. Brennan tries to talk to Booth about his son, but he'd rather discuss the case. Brennan fills him in on locket and Booth can't remember any Kenny in the case file. Booth suggests that they question Carlie's old friends and ask who Kenny might be. At the park Brennan and Booth talk to Carlie's old friends, Mary Corbis, Faith Davis and Tina Holmes. Booth asks about Kenny only to find out that Kenny was the name of the dog Kyle bought her. The dog has since died. Mary took care of it after Carlie's disappearance. Kyle brought it to her after he "accidentally" hit it with his car because Mary is a vet. Back at the lab Hodgins show Brennan, Booth, and Cam new discoveries on the trapped fish that Zack gave him. Although Blue Fish is common in the Delaware Bay, he found particles that show that the body was in fresh water for at least six months prior to its time in the bay. Booth chimes in that the witness they have saw Kyle at the bay and with no fresh water around for miles that means that Kyle might not be the murderer. ACT TWO: After discussing the fact that they might have to look for a new suspect Booth follows Hodgins and Brennan to the closest fresh water source that matches the results Hodgins found on the victim. As Brennan dives to the bottom of the lake, Hodgins sifts through sediment and talks to Booth about a woman he once dated that had a child and how hard it was for him. Booth notes that Hodgins is reaching out, but dodges the deeper issue by relying on small talk. Hodgins finds some things that are worth comparing at the lab and Brennan surfaces with bones that might match the fetus. At the lab Brennan and Zack add the bones of the fetus to the bones found at the lake. All together the fetus would have seven fingers on its left hand and two right hands. When looked at closer she finds that it's a raccoon hand, not a baby's hand. Hodgins enters with the data he's complied and everything he's compared between the body and the lake do not match. At the FBI offices Booth is briefed on Richardson by another agent. They've found Richardson's plates and car in two different places. Then Carlie's parents come into the room. They have a picture of Carlie and Kyle and in the background is Karen Tyler who said that she met Kyle after Carlie disappeared. At the lab the squints have recreated Carlie's height, weight, and density in a life size model. The purpose of the model is to see how different sizes of people would stab her. This way they can ID the killerâs body type. Kyle Richardson was 200 pounds so Brennan calls Booth. At the FBI offices Booth agrees to take a stab at taking a stab when his ex-girlfriend comes out of nowhere with a scowl. She begins to chew Booth out for running a background check on her new boyfriend. She threatens to not let Booth see his kid anymore and this puts Booth in check. Booth arrives at the lab to help conduct the stabbing test. Everyone has a go at it and the matching body type is Angela. Karen Tyler is the same body type as Angela. Angela wonders why Kyle ran if Karen is the killer, to which Cam points out, maybe Karen killed him too and he's yet to be found. ACT THREE: On the bone table Brennan and Hodgins look at Carlieâs remains again. Booth stands by. Hodgins notices that there is sediment embedded in the bone from when the knife passed through the body and into the ground. From this he might be able to find the location of the murder. Cam enters to inform the crew that it was Kyle's DNA under Carlie's nails, but he had admitted to fighting with her that day. She also found the DNA of a woman, perhaps Karen Tyler. Booth brings Karen in for a talk and Brennan takes a swab from her to get her DNA. Tyler denies that she or Kyle would kill Carlie, but neither Brennan nor Booth buys her story. At the lab Hodgins has uncovered the precise location as to where Carlie was murdered; Gloucester City, New Jersey. No one ever moved the body. The body was dumped in a creek and when heavy rains came six months ago she must have washed out into the bay. They go to Gloucester, New Jersey to the scene of the crime and uncover an overnight bag that belonged to Carlie. This shows that she wasn't there out of force. Brennan and Booth go back to the friends of Carlie's and ask them if they know whom Karen Tyler was and Mary the vet says that she saw them together at a Starbucks around the time Carlie went missing. After the visit with the friends and their kids Brennan and Booth have an argument about the worth of having kids. Brennan and Booth arrive at the lab to find out that the DNA from under Carlieâs nails doesn't match Karen Tyler. Also tissue from the fetus showed traces of an anti-depression drug that Carlie was not taking. They reexamine the fetus's skull bones only to find that it's not a fetus at all. This is the skull of a baby that lived at least two weeks. Carlie's fetus was removed and replaced with this baby. ACT FOUR: Still in the lab the squints examine the baby's bones to find that it was dead when it replaced the other baby. There is evidence to show that it suffered shaken baby syndrome. Odds are that the mother was on the anti-depression for post partum depression, got upset at the baby, and shook it too hard. The stab wounds on Carlie were all high enough not to harm the child and the marks on the lower ribs must have been from a surgical instrument used when removing the fetus. Booth gets a call; they've found Kyle Richardson. At the FBI offices Brennan and Booth question Kyle who denies knowing who killed his wife with child. He says that he did want to leave them, but he didn't kill them. They tell him that his child might still be alive. Booth meets up with Hodgins at the lab where Hodgins explains that he found betadine on Carlie's remains. It's used to keep wounds from infecting during surgeries. Angela has made an aging composite of the baby's skull to help pinpoint who the mother might be. When the Angelator displays the composite Brennan knows exactly who it is. At the park where Carlie's old friends were questioned Booth and Brennan look for Mary the vet who would have the knowledge and access of equipment to carry out such an act. They find her and confront her and she finally admits to the murder. The baby is taken from her and she's put under arrest. Back at the FBI offices they present Kyle Richardson with his son. It's hard for him to think of himself as a father, but something almost changes in him instantly that makes you think he might be OK after all.
Brennan and Booth grab a bite to eat at the diner, where they get a
visit from Booth's son, his ex and her boyfriend. Booth confronts the
new man and as nice as he is Booth can't handle the idea of Parker with
a new father figure, but when his ex suggests that maybe they should
just leave Booth buckles and realizes that if heâs gonna be able to see
his kid, then heâs gonna have to deal with things the way they are. This episode was very disturbing to me from the show's opening. Having a mother wash up on to shore with a fetus and them both being dead is an uneasy feeling. This episode plays off of the tragic incident of Laci Peterson and her unborn son Conner. The difference between the real life incident and this episode is the one who committed the crime. Laci Peterson and her son were murdered by her husband. In the episode, it was another mother (Mary Corbis) from a lamaze class who was suffering from post partum depression. During the episode Booth is having problems with whom his ex is seeing and orders a background check on him. He does this because he's worried about his son. Booth's ex isn't too happy about this and says if Booth wants to see his son again, he'll back off and accept things the way they are. I understand the concern Booth has for his son and at the same time, I also see where his ex is coming from with the way Booth is handling the situation. Later we find that the dead fetus didn't belong to the dead woman (Carlie), but was rather replaced with a baby that had already been alive for about 2 weeks and suffered from shaken baby syndrome. Carlie's baby had been cut out of her to replace the baby that was killed. We find later in the episode that Mary had swapped and raised Carlie's baby as her own. I have no respect for anyone who feels they have the need to shake a baby for whatever reason. I don't care if you are suffering from an illness or not, it's just not right. This episode touched on a lot of family issues. Overall, I enjoyed watching this episode. The wit of Camille was funny. Just wasn't too impressed that she was more eager to place one person in prison rather than following the science and getting to the truth. I hope Camille will accept the way Brennan does things and just let her be. Next episode airdate: 9/13/06 **SPOILER** "Tamara Taylor Guest-Stars" Brennan and Hodgins join Booth and Cam at a crime scene beside an overturned garbage truck. Among the trash in the truck is the body of a young man wrapped in a shroud. Brennan finds that his skull is cracked and his leg is broken, and Hodgins determines the victim has been in the trashheap for at least three weeks. At the lab, Angela is able to identify the body from a facial imprint created by the shroud. As Booth and Brennan try to unravel the limited clues of the case, the parents of the deceased boy point a suspicious finger at their son's young girlfriend, Kelly, a product of the foster system. Brennan takes her team members' rush to judgment and criticism of Kelly to heart since she's a product of the foster system as well. When Kelly confesses to the murder of her boyfriend, Brennan and Booth don't buy it, but are shocked and disheartened to discover who the real murderer is. Meanwhile, things get tense when Brennan and Cam butt heads over their different work styles and Brennan recoils at Cam's power plays. When a disagreement comes to a head, Cam threatens to start looking for Brennan's replacement, even if it means losing the whole Jeffersonian team if they're forced to take sides in "The Boy in the Shroud" episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Sept. 13 8/7c only on FOX! September 07 Bones - 201 - The Titan on the TracksThis episode was first episode of the second season. Continuing with the storyline of Bones (Brennan) trying to track down the whereabouts of her father and finding the one who murdered her, Bones has to help solve the connection of a dead senator and a very prominent wealthy man whom is about to lose everything in his life and go bankrupt. We find out that it's him and his PI that are in cahoots together so they can make the most of the company that is going no where fast. This episode Bones has a new boss to answer to, Dr. Camille “Cam” Saroyan. At the beginning of the episode we find that Booth and Cam had a spicey history, no details of their relationship have been revealed as of yet. About mid episode, we are told that the only reason why Cam took the job at the Jeffersonian was because of the higher profile cases and equipment. There is a tragic event that occurs during the episode that hinders the progression of finding teh truth behind her father and mother. The one guy who could help peice together soem answers is murdered in prison. We are told that Brennan's father was the one who ordered the hit. If this is true, why did he do this? At the end of the episode, Booth takes Brennan to her mother's headstone so she can "talk" to her mother. She is liberated after doing so and also finds a tiny dolphin lying in the grass in front of the headstone. The dolphin we believe was left by Brennan's father. Seems like not only Brennan is wanting some answers and needing closure. I thouroughly enjoyed the episode. Seeing the return of the original cast members and the addition of Cam was refreshing. I look forward to seeing what this season has in store for it's viewers. I'm hoping Booth and Brennan will get closer as he's trying to get her to open up and act like a "normal" human being instead of being so analytical about society and why they do what they do. Bones is aired on FOX every Wednesday at 8/7c. The next air date is scheduled for 9/6/06. September 06 It's that time again!!!It's that time of year again where all the new shows are going to start
premiering on your favorite networks. There seems to be a lot of hot
new shows that are coming out that seem to be interesting as well as
quiet a few returning series that you all have been dying to know
what's going to happen next. As this time has arrived, so has my time to make commentary on the television shows that I watch. This season, I plan on watching the following shows:
I'll be doing my best to cover theses shows to the best of my ability. There will be times I will be a little behind as I will probably be in class as these shows are on and will have to watch them off of my DVR. As I just found out, I have missed 1 episode of Bones already and have to find a way to be able to watch it so I know what's going on this season. My commentary will be on my MSN space, I may however, place the commentary here as well. Just keep an eye on this blog and I'll keep you informed. August 24 SmallvilleIt's been a few months since I've posted anything here and I apologize. I have been very busy raising a family as well as now going back to college. Despite my busy schedule, I'm going to attempt to continue on with with what I was doing a few months ago. Towards the end of September, Smallville will be airing on the new CW network. It will be at the same time as it was on on the WB network (Thurs 8/7C). For you that are interested in finding out what channel the CW will be on in your area, go to their web site and they have a page that will tell you. I found mine to be my old WB channel. What I have planned is to continue writing recaps of the newly aired episodes and expressing my thoughts and feelings of the episode. Granted they may not be posted the same day the show aired. I may not get anything up until a few days past the original air date, especially if I have missed the episode and have to watch it off of my DVR. I also want to note that on September 12, Season 5 of Smallville will be on DVD. Make sure you get your copy and add it to your other 4 seasons. April 28 Smallville - FadeWell, since I really don't have much of anything to do tonight while here at work, I think I'll express my thoughts on Fade. First, I am not that much of a fan for the whole Lexana thing. I find it rather grotesque, but that's me. I'm totally one for the forbidden Clark/Lana relationship that I know will never happen. I wish Clark would have come clean with her back in episode 100, but of course that was too good to be true. I've been focusing mainly on the Project Mercury blog thing that is going on over at http://www.aol.com/smallville and trying to solve the coded message that is supposedly solvable based on the current clues. A bunch of people are racking their brain trying to solve it and it isn't goin anywhere. As the fact that this has gotten me so interested, I have written up a companion blog to this whole mystery. I have named it Mission: Smallville. Myself and one other person have been trying to track what's been happening in the blog and hopefully at the same time, crack the code. There are like 2 more episodes left for this season and from what I've read in the spoilers, they are very suspensful and we should be seeing the Project Mercury blog come to an end around mid-May. April 10 Hopefully a return for meI haven't posted anything as you see in a very long time. There has been very good reason for this. This reason is that my wife is pregnant. We now stand at 7 months. We will be having a baby boy around the middle of June or so. So far we have decided (well, I think we've decided) on the first name being Kristofer. Coming up with a suitable middle name has been difficult. We have had a lot of suggestions thrown our way, yet haven't been able to decide on one. So far we have
Yeah, it's pretty small. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Any suggestions you may have, just leave them in a comment and they'll be added to the list for consideration. After the baby is born, we'll let you know what the name of the baby is. November 05 The Return of ReunionOkay... after watching tonight's episode we've found that Aaron, Will, Craig, and Carla are still alive. That leaves 2 females unaccounted for in this group of friends.... Sam and Jenna. Next week, we are to find out who is the one murdered. Both seem to have something going against them that could wind up getting them shot. Jenna has her acting career and Carla is upset that she didn't get her photography break she was hoping for from Jenna. Sam is in the middle of a love triangle between Craig and Will. She very well may have stepped into the line of fire between an arguement between Will and Craig. We still don't know who the shooter is. The detective is dead set in proving it was Will, but was thrown a curve ball in tonight's episode when Craig made the suggestion that he was the actual guilty one that killed the detective's father 20 years ago. Who was the one murdered? Who was the murderer? October 23 Time to play catch upI have been needing to post something here for a while now. I guess now would be a great time to do so. With so much on television this fall, I am having a terrible time keeping up with all these shows. With my DVR, I have been somewhat successful in watching the majority of the shows. I'll see what I can do to sum up what I think of the shows that I have been watching.
Bones
This show I find alright. I like the guy that played in Angel and Buffy. The storyline between him and "Bones" hasn't gotten that intreguing yet. I would like to see a romantic fire start sometime between the two. With baseball taking over the whole month of October, I hope that when it returns the 3rd of November that the storylines become a little more in depth into these characters.
Grey's Anatomy
Continuing from where it left off last season, it has had some pretty good episodes. Meredith hasn't been having much luck in the way of a relationship with Dr. McDreamy. Especially so when his wife made an appearance at the end of season 1 and has been in the majority of season 2. From what I've read in the spoilers, she isn't leaving all to soon, but it will happen and Meredith will have her shot at him once again.
Commander In Chief
I like how someone finally decided to write a show where it puts a woman in charge of the United States. This has always been a hot issue here in the U.S. By watching this show, it sort of helps us come to terms to what may happen if the U.S. did finally have a woman commanding the nation and our troops.
E-Ring
I've enjoyed this show from the first episode. Being somewhat of a military brat, myself, I've been somewhat interseted in what role the pentagon played in the U.S. This is one I haven't missed an episode on yet.

it, I would have to say that it will be one series that I will be
adding to my collection of TV Series that I will be watching this
fall. Actors that I recognized on the series include the guy that
played Angel in Buffy and Angel and that high ranking officer in JAG
that Harm and that girl had to report to. (Some shows that I don't
watch very often, I am very bad with names, so forgive me for not
knowing.) I have my DVR (I picked one up yesterday) set to record
every episode for the season. I can't wait to see how this works. September 11 The O.C. and ReunionI have seen 2 season premieres so far, The O.C. and Reunion. From what I've seen, they both are off to an awesome start. I'm going to continue watching on the Reunion and see where that storyline goes after the end of the season. Stay tuned :D September 07 Smallville info for the 5th season courtesy of the WB Now beginning its fifth season on The WB, this new interpretation of the enduring Superman mythology and its classic characters blends realism and adventure into an exciting action series. After promising things won't change between them, Lana leaves Clark behind and heads off to live in Metropolis with Chloe, making it a struggle to beat the odds and stay together.
Fourteen years ago, a meteor shower burst from the heavens, raining destruction on the unsuspecting citizens of Smallville, Kansas. The intervening years have left the towns inhabitants with scars and secrets. From the ashes of tragedy, Clark Kent has grown into an awkward teen. While adolescence always brings its challenges, Clark's transition from boyhood to manhood has been particularly difficult. He has struggled to come to grips with his emerging superpowers - and the effects of various forms of kryptonite - while battling the strange things that have plagued this idyllic Midwest hamlet since the meteor shower. In last season's finale, Clark, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Chloe (Allison Mack) graduated from high school but the day was less then celebratory after the military called for a forced evacuation of the town due to an impending meteor shower. Searching for answers, Clark once again turned to Jor-El and was told the only way to stop the impending disaster was to unite the three sacred crystals. After stealing the last one from Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), Clark brought all three together in the cave and immediately disappeared into a vortex that brought him to the arctic tundra. As season five begins, Clark unlocks the Fortress of Solitude and is given a new challenge by Jor-El. Desperate to return to Smallville, Clark makes a promise to his biological father that will soon come back to haunt him. The guardians of Clark's secret identity have always been his adoptive parents, Jonathan (John Schneider, The Dukes of Hazzard) and Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole). However, this year, Clark learns that Chloe also knows his secret. After finding him in the Fortress of Solitude, Chloe admits to knowing about his powers and the two join up to fight injustice. While one part of Clark is thrilled to have someone to talk to about his powers, another remembers what happened with Pete and fears the same fate for Chloe. Meanwhile, Chloe joins the Daily Planet as an intern, which provides her with new resources to help Clark. With Clark in college now, Jonathan and Martha are able to finally pursue their own lives. While Martha continues to run the Talon, Jonathan gets a visit from an old friend (Tom Wopat, The Dukes of Hazzard) who convinces him to run for mayor against Lex. An enthusiastic Lois Lane (Erica Durance) jumps on the bandwagon and immediately takes over as Jonathan's campaign manager. On board to save his town from the Luthors, Jonathan also knows this sudden spotlight could be dangerous to Clark, as his past will become public record. Over the years, Clark has forged a remarkable relationship with Lex Luthor though neither has an inkling of how their destinies will ultimately collide. Lex has constantly fought his destiny and turn to the dark side. This year he loses that battle. The Lex Luthor of comic lore has arrived and this season Clark and Lex become mortal enemies. The arrival of DC Comic villain Milton Fine, aka Brainiac (James Marsters, Angel), exacerbates the situation between Clark and Lex. Fine recruits Clark to be his research assistant and provides him with top-secret information about Lex's immoral Luthorcorp experiments. His arrival on Earth was no accident. Fine was born out of the spaceship that landed after the meteor shower. Who sent him and why proves to be a life-altering revelation for Clark as he finally learns why he was sent to Earth and what happened to his biological parents and home planet. Clark comes face to face with another DC Comic hero this season. Aquaman swims into Smallville, and into Lois' heart, after saving her from drowning. After witnessing one of Lex's experiments cause irreparable harm to the marine life, AC, a young man with special powers, uses Lois' military connections to save the ocean and all its inhabitants by destroying Lex's secret underwater lab. Wanting Clark to join him in stopping Luthorcorp, AC shows Clark proof of Lex's wrongdoings, which sends Clark reeling. Reinterpreting the Superman mythology from its roots, Smallville was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Shanghai Noon, Spiderman 2), based on the DC Comics characters. Gough and Millar serve as executive producers, along with Greg Beeman, Ken Horton, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. Season Four will be hitting stores on September 13 and will be available for preorder on online outlets within the next week or two. It will include all 22 episodes on 6 DVDs. In addition to the episodes, Warner Brothers have included some awesome bonus material. You can expect to find 25 minutes of deleted scenes (21 scenes total), episodes commentaries by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and others, "Inside the Writers Room" documentary, and "Being Lois Lane" featuring interviews with Noel Neill, Margot Kidder, Dana Delaney and Erica Durance. The set is part of Warner Television's 50th Anniversary, and a bonus DVD featuring an episode of The Flash has been included.
